भारतीय मज़दूर वर्ग की सबसे बेबाक आवाज़ और भारत में ‘ट्रेड यूनियन’ (Trade Union) आंदोलन को खड़ा करने वाले महान नेता नारायण मल्हार जोशी (एन.एम. जोशी) का 30 मई 1955 को निधन हुआ था। उनके अकल्पनीय प्रयासों से ही भारत में मज़दूरों के अधिकारों को एक ऐतिहासिक और कानूनी मान्यता मिली। (Narayan Malhar Joshi (N.M. Joshi), the boldest voice of the Indian working class and the great leader who built the ‘Trade Union’ movement in India, passed away on 30 May 1955. It was through his unimaginable efforts that workers’ rights gained historical and legal recognition in India.)
