हर साल 27 मई को पूरी दुनिया में ‘विश्व आपातकालीन चिकित्सा दिवस’ मनाया जाता है। 2018 में शुरू हुए इस दिन का महान और ऐतिहासिक उद्देश्य चिकित्सा आपातकाल (Medical Emergency) के खेदजनक समय में बेबाक तरीके से जान बचाने वाले डॉक्टरों और मेडिकल स्टाफ के अकल्पनीय योगदान का सम्मान करना है। (World Emergency Medicine Day is celebrated all over the world every year on 27 May.
